Goals and Symptoms:Customer will like to know if OFS server will support reading or accessing multi-dimensional ARRAYS created in Unity Pro and if this will be in a STU or XVM files.
Causes and fixes:From UNITY V2.3, the delta between XVM and STU file is little bit. The only thing, you can t access with XVM file, is I/O derived data type (IODDT).
Furthermore, the setup and communication are better with XVM file.
For more information, see the following OFS MEA:

Unity Pro available variables using .STU
================================
- Elementary data type (EDT),
- Table, structure,
- Derived data type (DDT),
- Elementary function block (EFB),
- Derived function block (DFB).
- I/O derived data type (IODDT),
Unity Pro available variables using .XVM
================================
- Elementary data type (EDT),
- Table, Structure
- Derived data type (DDT).
- Derived function block (DFB). Public variables ( V3.3 )
- Elementary function block (EFB), DFB Input/Output
- OFS V3.31 & Unity V2.3
So, yes you can use the multi-dimensional ARRAYS with the XVM file.
